September sees the 2024 'Operation Christmas Child' launch – a mission to provide love at Christmastime, bringing a smile to children worldwide as they open your box of Christmas love.
Please be encouraged to support this. Shoeboxes are available with an accompanying leaflet of suggested items for you to bless a child aged 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14. Plenty of items are available in our local shops and online for around £1 and under, and although Christmas is three months away, we need to consider the logistics involved.
You may wish to consider who else you could invite to join in the fun of filling a shoebox, especially considering the children of Ukraine at this time and, of course, the millions of other children worldwide.
Alternatively, if filling a shoebox is too challenging, why not make a £15 or £20 donation (or whatever you can afford) instead? You can make your donation using the envelope provided in the shoebox.
