One night, a man had a dream of walking along the beach with Jesus. As scenes from his life unfolded, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand—one belonging to him and the other to Jesus.

As the man reflected on his life's journey, he recognized that during the most challenging times, there was only one set of footprints. This realisation troubled him, and he asked Jesus about it.

“Jesus, you promised that once I chose to follow you, you would be with me every step of my life. Yet in my lowest moments, I see only one set of footprints. Why did you leave me when I needed you the most?”

Jesus responded, “My precious child, I love you and will never leave you. The times when you see only one set of footprints was when I carried you!"
