BEACON COMMUNITY HUB BACTON

Beacon Community Hub - a welcoming space for everyone, regardless of age and gender. You're invited to join us at this gentle and loving community hub, where we offer hot drinks, soups, and delicious homemade cakes, all free of charge# - just turn up!

Alternatively, if you are aware of anyone who you think may benefit from some company - bring them along!

# Any donations received go to Age UK to support a range of Community Advocacy services to ensure that older people in Norfolk are supported in maintaining their independence.

Enjoy a warm, friendly, and relaxed atmosphere where you can chat, make new friends, play games, and much more. You're welcome to stay the whole day, from 10:30 am - 3:30 pm, and we may even be able to provide transportation if you need it.

A helping hand is also on the menu with a Community Connector from NNDC joining forces with us, informing people about voluntary and statutory support available to our guests. Including dementia support, bereavement support, food bank and statutory support such as housing, financial or social prescribing services.

Beacon Community Hub is also a place where it's ok to be not okay and acknowledge you're not in a good place. It's a place where it's ok to ask for help and to reach out to others who are able and willing to assist you in the realization that we all experience times of difficulty or crisis.

We also offer a quiet room if you prefer time on your own, along with a Healing Room if you would like someone to pray with you or for you. Ample parking, wheelchair-accessible entrance and toilet.
