While most mainstream religions believe in a Heaven and a Hell, only Christianity offers the promise of forgiveness of sins and everlasting life (Heaven). Christianity is about developing a close relationship with God (our Heavenly Father), Jesus (our Lord and Saviour), and the Holy Spirit (our guide and God's presence here on Earth).
For those who accept Jesus as their Saviour, the Holy Spirit also serves as a powerful reminder of God’s promise of a future home in heaven, offering a beautiful foretaste of what is yet to come. So let’s address the only question that really matters—Is Hell Real?
The answer to the question 'Is Hell Real' is Yes! Heaven and Hell are the places our spirit goes when we breathe our last, with Hell reserved for those who reject the offer of salvation. However, God desires everyone to spend eternity in Heaven with Him (as mentioned in John 3:16) rather than facing the punishment of Hell. But ultimately, God gives us the freedom to make our own choice.
Hell is a place devoid of goodness. Imagine being somewhere without love, joy, peace, or hope. It’s hard to imagine, especially when you realise you wouldn’t even be able to reach out to God for help or feel His comforting presence when you need it!
Now, let’s turn our focus to Jesus, our path to eternal life (Heaven). If you haven’t already, why not accept Jesus as your Saviour while you can? Many people in Norfolk are embracing Jesus as their Saviour right now, feeling confident about where they'll go when their time comes. So don’t hesitate—make that important decision today!
When you discover Jesus for the first time and start to build a relationship with Him, you realise what you’ve been missing and what you’ve been unconsciously searching for all along, plus you'll discover the ultimate meaning and purpose of life on Earth.
If you've never been told about Jesus, or if your mind has been darkened through unbelief so that you cannot see the light of Jesus, but would like to believe and be saved, come along to one of our Sunday morning services at 10:30, and meet Dan, our minister, where you can learn more about accepting Jesus as your Saviour. hell real
